Earth Hour 2009 is 8:30pm–9:30pm March 28 2009.
What you need to do is just switch off all the lights and electricity during that one hour.
Save our world, love our Earth.
Perhaps one hour of lights off from everyone is not enough to make an impact big enough to rescue our Earth from the rising Earth temperature. It might not be enough to stop the greenhouse gas emissions. Most people might just think that this one hour of lights off are useless, and there’s no point in doing so.
True. Very true. One hour can not be a big help to the Earth, but it will definitely raise the awareness of people to the environmental pollutions. The melting ice of the North, the raising water-level of the sea, the frequency of floods as well as the changing climate. The days are getting hotter and hotter.
I am sure that nobody wants the Earth to become a ruin in the future. Nobody wants the Doomsday to happen on Earth. I am sure, nobody wants to see the end of the world.
It’s just so easy. Just do your part in switching off all the lights on 28th March, 8.30pm – 9.30pm local time. When one person off the lights, everyone else will follow. Love our Earth, save her future for our own future.
